Hi Monica, Thanks so much for your help.

The family did come to Australia in about 1853. Just the parents, William &, Janet and children, James, Margarent, Alex & John.  From what I found so far, the first 4 born did not. I not know what ever happen to them. Nor did the children, Marion,(2)come, I guess they both died as infants.

What I would like to determine is William's Father, William, where is he from. and his parents, etc. I have a hard time linking one generation back to to previous one when there are several posibilities of people with the same name.
Thank again for your interest and help.
Regards

I don't know if William & John Wildsmith were brothers. If I could find William's parents and where he was born, then we may have an answer..

Hello, Thanks for your very interesting reply, Jessie Nash was my Great Grandfather. He came to Australia about 1890. He died in Melbourne in 1954 aged 87. I have vague memories of him. He was married to Martha Turney. They had 12 children. If you are interested I will email a photo of him to you and any other information I have on the Nash's.
I would be interested in any information you have on the family.
My email is lambmax@hotmail.com

Herefordshire Lookup Requests / Re: Census 1841/51

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately its the wrong Thomas. The one I'm after is about 67 in 1841.
In the Herefordshire & Worcestershire at the time, there were at least 3 Thomas & Mary Wildsmith's. 1 at Little Hereford, 1 at Claines, and the 3rd is the one I'm chasing. I think he was baptised at Leominster in 1774.
It possible he may have been in Worcestershire in 1841.
Thanks

Hello.
I'm looking for Thomas Wildsmith that was b. Leominster 1774. I think he was in Herefordshire in 1841. I would like to know who the rest of the family were, and where he was in 1841. Also if he shows up in the 1851 census.
Many thanks to anyone that can help.
Regards
