Hello again, I found this on Althorp Yard, which was off Tuthill. The house with the bay and wood frame is my house . Not heard of a Althorpes yard but will keep looking, there were many many yards in this area, all just about gone now since the 60's slum clearances. This is a picture of Whartons yard which ran off Quay Street, and the coloured one is Wyrills yard which was the back of my house not related to your search but which would have been very much the same. I have also attached an old picture of my house which will give you a general picture of what the area was like. I will keep looking though as we have old maps too and will come back to you
