Hi.

My mistake a slip of the finger on the keyboard, should have been born 1888, not 1898.
I recently took up the ancestry free 1911 census lookup but where the address should probably be has been hidden behind another window of theirs hence why I'm asking for help.

Norfolk Lookup Requests / Re: Bowen. aldeby, burgh st peter

Hi.

Yes its me again. The period of time 1770-1790.

Samuel married a sarah crouching at gillingham 1810 had a couple of children bpt. there The 1841 and 1851 shows them living at aldeby and burgh. unfortunatly the only info. of where they were born was norfolk in both cases. I think they could be related to the norton bowen's although as yet unproven.
Have worked my way around the raveningham parish's without success, so now trying the suffolk border parish's.

Suffolk / Barnard marriage licence
« on: Wednesday 24 October 12 19:41 BST (UK)  »
Hi.
Could anybody do a lookup for me regarding a John Barnard and a Mary Barber. They were married by licence at the parish of Belton, 1785 on the norfolk suffolk border. Belton was at this time in suffolk, although now in norfolk, but it came under the norfolk archdeaconry. I have the info. of the marriage from the parish register, but now need the info from the licence.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Chris.

Just had a look at my index and have a james Peacher of woodton buried there on 03.02.1892 aged 70.
Is this your man? I believe it is.
Its worth a look at the burial register for the parish church of Heckingham in case he was buried there, also for his own parish of woodton.
The workhouse did have it's own consecrated ground.
