I never expected such a wonderful response and I would could never have found out all this by myself....so thank you both so much for your 'investigations'.  I wonder if Theodora ever knew about her biological parents?

My grandmother said that as a child she was left to look after the 'Ward' babies, so as the Bresemans had no children James Ward gave them Theodora  :-[

Theodora Ward born 1910 Pontypridd.
On 1911 Census for Cardiff, 14 Walker Rd East Moors, Splott, age 1 with father James Ward and family.
According to my grandmother Elizabeth Edwards (Theodora' half-sister), her parents gave Theodora away to their German neighbours as they did not have children of their own.
The German neighbours are on the 1911 census for Cardiff, William and Alma Breseman from Hamburg.
I can't find out what happened to Theodora.....any help would be great.
