I think the duplication was my fault.   I'm new to this forum and was trying to work out how post!

Hello.   I am working on a pamphlet about the Battle of Stockton on 10th September 1933.   A group of us are trying to get some kind of commemoration organised.   I would love to talk to anyone who knew some of the people involved.   In particular, personal or family stories would really help to bring the event alive for a new generation.    Thanks

Ok, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I quite understand your urge for historical accuracy but sometimes people's vague memories tell you a lot  about how they view their past.   Of course, we are also going to do a properly researched history but I would like to include personal views as well.

Good idea to post more widely here, I shall give it a go!

Hi.   I have just come across your 2014 post about the Battle of Stockton.   I'm writing a pamphlet about it for the group who are trying to organise a commemoration of some kind.   Would you be willing to be interviewed about your family's involvement?   Thanks

Hi.   I'm writing up a pamphlet on the Battle of Stockton for the group organising a commemmoration event this year.   Would it be possible to interview you about your family's response to the events?
