One from me, it is always more difficult when one of the faces is badly damaged to get a true image.
Pat

Oh sorry for getting your hopes up Ann  :-\...I should have said It was WW2
It's a lovely photo and hopefully I will get to have a go at it tomorrow...been busy in the garden today. Making hay while the sun shines and all that  ;D

Some good info on this forum here:

Carol

Thanks for sharing Carol!

Makes me mad to see how they charge for any little piece of information yet Tracing our Anzacs gives you information of EVERYTHING on the soldiers.  One of my granny’s cousins died in No Man’s land aged 19 and they even have a letter written from Scotland from my gt.grandfather asking for information on his “gallant grandson”, that was very emotional!

I had a go too  but there's not much detail left in any of the faces.

Thank you Mike,

Although I still have no clue who they are I think you have made their faces much clearer.

Many thanks,
Ann

Had a go, Ann, but I couldn't coax a lot out of it without making it up. Other restorers might do better for you.
Peter

Thank you very much Peter at least it looks like both men are playing musical instruments there at the front!

Still no clue who they are lol
