Good evening I am still continuing with my search I have came across from the 1821 census a John Sleaven aged 13 from Derryvullan, Fermanagh and a John Slevin from Tullaghanstown (Clonmacduff, Meath) aged 8. Would either of these places fit in with the county Monaghan area?   :-\

Any help would be appreciated, I was most grateful for the help you gave me earlier in the year.

Best wishes

I thought that could be the right church it is really beautiful.  Thank you so much Heywood and Hallmark.  Hope you are enjoying the match and you get the result you want.  Newcastle won last night so this has been a brilliant weekend.

I'm delighted with the help you have given me. Some of the mysteries have now been solved and more children added to their family. Next step is for me to find their parents, it's all very exciting.

Sorry about the thread I only started this yesterday so not familiar with it and how it exactly works.  It's not my intention to waste peoples time I am really grateful for the help I have received.  I thought as the marriage was in Clones if I clicked on that that was totally separate.

Thanks again

Thank you this is really appreciated.  I have looked for sometime now and thought that the age of Catherine had to be incorrect. At least I can try and go further back to find their parents and which county they came from.  We are coming to Dublin next month and this trip and information is brilliant for all of us especially my Mam who is the Slavin line. We're really excited and looking forward to it.
Thanks again Caroline

Thank you for your prompt replies.  The marriage one could that be someone else as it makes Catherine 8 years old at the time of marriage.  I did come across that one on Ancestry from a tip from someone elses family tree.  What would be the legal age to marry?

Thanks again
