Hi, I believe this person maybe related to my late mother in law Janet Lewis nee Janet Cuthbertson. I know she had a brother William ( Billie ) and a sister Meg she was from Stranraer and lived in South Wales. Her son my husband is John Lewis.

On the Scotlands People, there is a Gilbert Cuthbertson showing as a tenant at Glenvogie, Penninghame between at least 1920 and 1925 (SP currently have the VRs online for certain years).
This is possibly William's mum's death:
