Hello! I am new to this site and am searching for my family history. I am looking for Adam McCracken who emigrated to America somewhere around 1794 with his wife Jane Hanna. They had five possibly six children...James the oldest, Adam, Alexander, Thomas, Jane and possibly William or Henry. Adam's mother's name was Martha Flynn. James the oldest son Married Rachel Hagan, Adam married Mary Gillespie, Alexander married Sarah Clark. Thomas was three years old when they emigrated so I assume he was born in Ireland. I have that they were from Macosquin Parish County Derry however I believe the family was from Scotland...possibly Dumphries Galloway. Cananyone help to discover their past prior to emigrating to America?
