I was wondering if it's possible to find out the history of a property? I live in my grandparents house and I have a copy of their mortgage document that says they bought the bungalow in 1952 for £800!!!! 
I also have grandfathers Air Force records that show he was at this address in 1942 and it was said that they rented before they bought the place. So I just wondered who they rented from and when they moved here. They married in April 1941 so I guess it was around that time and he was born in 1912. I see there is a 1939 register just wondered if anyone could do a house search for me or a search for them? His name was
William John Sandle / Sandall and her maiden name Edith Nellie brown
The address I'm interested in is Cheltenham Drive, Leigh on sea, Essex
Any suggestions would be grateful

« on: Friday 18 January 13 12:51 GMT (UK) »I see from his first marriage that there is no middle name. There are 2 marriages in Romford district with husband William, one spouse surname is Bones the other Andrews.
There are 6 children showing to the Bones marriage on freebmd, you can look at them by selecting births after 1911 Romford reg district Surname Sutton, mothers maiden name Bones. They may ring a bell.

Thank you Marg, Carol, JJ and Lostris for your help with this. My Nan and all her siblings have now passed away so I dont think i shall be able to find any more out from the family. Can anyone see his children on 1911 especially James would only be 13 and Elizabeth 15?? Are they with their father?

My relative William Sutton appears on an 1871 census age 4, living with his parents in Dagenham.
I have his 1881census details, he married in Nov 1889 and i have his 1891 census and his 1901 census with his wife Louie Sutton. Louie Sutton dies in 1902 age 35 in Romford.
My Grandmother told me that he (her grandad) remarried and had lots more children, however i do not have any information about this.
Can anyone find for me marriage of William Sutton in Dagenham area after 1902?
