Hi Meliora Hi Pels

have come accross the record for Albert Juno Harding , there is no birth index so I thik we are on the right track, I am thinking that the reason Alfred & arthur might be missing in the 1891 cencus could have something to do with the boer war - not sure its only a hunch.

Pels I have quite a lot of records for the harding side of the family

you are on the right track with your findings I have the 1881 cencus 1901 cencus marriger of emma l harding to william garger births for george james 1897
thomas william 1900
elizabeth ellen 1898 (no one even knew about her)
thomas william 1873

have found cencus records back from 1861 for george :father and george j. the son

I dont have any marrige records other than emma for anyone listed in the 1881 cencus which appears to be the complete family
I would like to find out who the girls married and what happened to the boys. I know there is still living harding relatives in UK somewhere last correspondance was in 1968 from pitsea, basildon not sure how o find them now though do know they had a daughter Vera harding married name RAY

Pels you must have been doing this for years, what takes me weeks you can do in minutes!!!

Ell done Pels well done Tazzie,

while I was sleeping the 2 of you have mapped my whole family!

yahoo I have roots!!!!!!    ;D ;D ;D

How did you manage to find all these records??  Now I need to see if indeed there is a link between edwin yates mayor of birmingham & the herefordshire yate`s

Tazzie was there a list of birmingham mayors?

P.S. no luck unfortunately at the cemetry today Fredrick Heming has no grave .
I also called the only Heming in the phone book but alas no relation.. not yet anyway!

the birth cert of my grandfather also arrived today so I can start to check out the Harding side of the family

Thankyou both for the help ;)
