I have a civilisation medal 1914-1919 for a Tom Kelly. Pte, 4223, leins. R. I'm trying to find out who he is. I know nothing about Tom. The medal was with my father's things after he died. I would think Tom was Irish because that's where the medal is. Hope someone can help.

Ireland / Re: Long form Marriage cert 1901.
« on: Saturday 21 January 12 22:09 GMT (UK)  »
The 1901 register no marriages in Clogherhead Co Louth are not in the national library. So looks like I will have to go to the Church, but I was hoping I would not have to do that.

Thanks everybody for your help.

Hi Joan. This is all good infomation. I will have to go back and look at what I have, I am sure I will have information to give you. James Boylan who married Mary Duffy was my Great Grandfather. On his Marriage cert his father was Thomas Boylan, Sailor. I could never find out who this Thomas Boylan was, Could not find a birth cert for James so dont know who his mother was. The Ownes name has come up in my resarch.
Many Thanks.

Yet Shane. Have that.
My problem in William Hoey and Mary Kinsella. I have them on Marriage and birth for Joseph but dont know were there were before his birth or after he Married.
There is a William Hoey married to Mary Kinsella 1841 Castledermot Co Kildare but dont know if is them.
So when I saw Newfoundland I was thinking Canada.
Thanks Again.
