Hi Stewart !
I am a friend of Peter's here in the UK and we both do research into the Swanger / Swainger's and I am intrigued to find out from your CI knowledge as to why there is such a wide area of records kept and whereabouts are they ?
You mention in your last response to Peter that Henry is recorded in a register that covers some 18 months and a similar time for Harriett.
The charges for getting a certificate direct from the States of Jersey are quite high compared to here in the UK and if we cannot be specific about a date they seem to surcharge you again.
Any suggestions please
