I have received the death certificate today and it is definitely him. He has the same address as in 1911 census.

Hi, it is a long time since I first posted this request. To be honest I completely forgot about it and found it again through google.  William is my great great great grandfather through his daughter Sarah, then her son Thomas.  I have a copy of his marriage certificate to Eliza nee Bray, daughter of Richard.

It sounds as though you have definitely found his death -his daughter Sarah was still living in Simms lane at the time of Thomas birth.  Williams occupation was at times listed as a hairdresser so that appears to fit with his father.

Thank you so much.  I will now purchase the death certificate. I would expect that Sarah is probably the informant as she continued to live with her father after the death of her husband Daniel Millward during ww1.

Hi
My friends parents lived in the New st area of Crewe and were moved to the Brookhouse estate that had just been built. The estate is off Gresty road.  I live in Crewe and if you contact the Crewe cemetery for a location of the graves that you want, I am willing to take photos for you

Hi
They will probably be buried in Crewe cemetery. If you ring the cemetery with the dates of death they will tell you the plots that they are in. If you find the plots, I live in Crew and am willing to go to the cemetery and take photos for you

Hi Anne
Yes I have John and Hannah Nee Hadley. I am happy to be in touch by email.  I could then send you copies of any certificates then. I also have my tree as a private tree on ancestry if you use that I would open it for you

Hi Anne
I am researching Millward. My dad is Warwick millward, son of Thomas William, then daniel Millward ( he died during ww1), then Thomas, then Samuel brother of Hannah. I can go forward from Samuel in quite detail, but with their parents I can only go back on Samuel and Hannah's mothers side.  I am hoping to go to dudley either this week or next if you want me to look anything up(at the moment the archives is in process of moving so I can only access microfilm).  Rowley Regis records are not at dudley though, but I can get some records from staffordshire archives when I go there, also hopefully this week or next. The joys of being on holiday from work.

London and Middlesex / Re: John Edward(Douglas ) Tunstall - born Brentford abt 1804

Thank you Dawn, that is a definite possible. I don't know anything about brothers or sisters.  I have not been able to trace him before his marriage.  The family he married into we're Bathwell from Burslem and their marriage was recorded in the staffordshire newspaper but it only gave her parents info.

London and Middlesex / John Edward(Douglas ) Tunstall - born Brentford abt 1804

Help please, I am trying to trace a John Edward Tunstall, although for his marriage he used the middle name of Douglas.  He married in Burslem Stoke on Trent in 1836 giving his name as John Douglas Tunstall a potter.  On every census until his death he is called John Edward Tunstall born Brentford approx 1804. His occupation on most census records I'd Draper.  I am trying to trace his birth and the names of his parents.

Hi Anne
Hannah Millward is also in my tree!  she married Thomas Jewkes at rowley Regis St Giles 1june1846. The witnesses to the marriage were Samuel Millward and Mary Millward.  hope this helps.  I didn't know she had remarried, could you let me know the details.  I can also give you parents info if you need.
