I don't think so. I haven't worked on the Sharp family for a while so I can't remember my contacts without going on main PC which has Malware at the moment. I've also been trying to find my mother's O'Gara and Kilkenny Irish family. They are also difficult to find, lol.

I know, I just call her the mystery lady, lol.
I spent about 4 days researching the Sharpe family in Bury St Edmunds records office, got back to Julian Sharp 1696, but as I said before no records for Susannah.

First child of Timothy Sharp and Susannah Lefterhand was Timothy James Sharp, born 22 Sep 1790 in either Little Saxham or Great Saxham.
Source; Little and Great Saxham parish records.
He married Mary Baker 22 May 1814 and lived in Risby, Suffolk.

I first found the marriage of Susannah Lefterhand and Timothy Sharp at the Bury St Edmunds record office. They kindly did a search for Susannah, and found several different similar names, but no connection between them. I even tried French and German records, and still found no links.
Very frustrating.

Hi Lola,
Yes I tried variations of the Lefterhand name but didn't find any connections. Another descendant hired a professional researcher and they couldn't find any family. They said that Susannah could have been a founding, but no records to support that.

Hi,
I'm descended from Thomas Sharp 1762, son Julian Sharp 1696, his son Abraham 1730, down to my grandad Isaac Sharp 1890.
I'm willing to share info. It's a bit difficult at the moment cos I'm using my mobile. My main PC has malware which I'm trying to get rid of, lol.
Xx

I have Susannah Lefterhand in my family tree. I have found no details about her except two marriage records. The first one just gives the name of Timothy Sharp and Susannah Lefterhand and marriage date.
The second from the parish records which someone has already posted.
I searched surnames of Lefterhand, Lanes and Lorne, and found nothing.
I did find a 2 year old Susannah Lefterhand in the German Wurthenberg records travelling from Nordstetton, destination was unclear. No others of that surname on the same list. I also found a Chas Lefterhand travelling from Germany to the USA and living with the Lemke family in Cooke, Illinois.
I did not find any connection to Timothy's wife Susannah.

Oxfordshire / Re: Two Baptisms

I have an ancestor with 2 baptisms. Luckily for me the local Vicar explained the reason. Apparently if a baby was ill and seemed likely to die, it would be baptised straight away. If it survived it would be baptised later on.
