Hello from Australia - I noticed that Tristram is a surname on your list of interests - I am interested in a marriage between John Tristram and miss Mollart (cant lay my hand on the paper with the Christian name on it) in Bagnall, early 18th century.  My prime target is William Tristram born 1823 who may be the son of the above.  Any help gratefully accepted, with thanks, Liz

I am not good at this posting, not familiar with it yet, so hope someone human gets this message.!  I am researcing Smiths from Swinford, Charles Heny Smith whose Father I believe was Henry. No other information other than that he had two sons in early 1880.s (in Madras) so probably was born between 1855 - 1865. Any help gratefully received. Liz Agnew Australia

thank you, I am assuming smith/tristram marriage took place in UK, possibly Sth Staff, their son was born in Madras in 1885 and had an older brother Hedley or Hadley, so maybe the marriage was in India in early 1800's.

searching for a marriage between miss tristram and mr smith, other family names involved could be "Barron", christian names Charles Henry Samual Smith. A shot in the dark but that is all the info I have, other that their son Charles Henry Samual Smith was born in Madras India, and became an army bandsman. Thanks in anticipation.
