I don't have access to 1901 Census of Ireland.
Could someone help please with a William Brady in Mountshannon?
He died on 28 Mar 1906 in Mountshannon as a bachelor, aged 67. He maybe the same who was the son and informant at the death of Susan Brady, a farmer's widow in Mountshannon on 2 Sep 1885.
How can I find out if William Brady left a Will in 1906?

I am interested in this Bourchier line, especially as you have recorded that a Charles Bouchier married a Jane Brady 1824 Moutshannon.
I might say that her brother William Brady married Susan Holland in 1825 and Henry Brady married Ann Long.
Henry Brady's daughter Mary Ann Brady married John Bourchier 25 Feb 1848 Mountshannon.
A number of Brady and Bourchier families emigrated to Geelong.
I might say that her brother William Brady married Susan Holland in 1825 and Henry Brady married Ann Long.

Notice to those who maybe interested:
May have found the death of Susannah or Susna Brady 2 Sep 1885 Mt. Shannon widow 81 farmer's widow son William Brady present at death.
This may make her son William Brady, the same who was a bachelor and died 28 Mar 1906 Scariff Workhouse age of 67 makes a possible brother to Aussie emigrants Obadiah Brady and Maria Brady.
I also see that there is a death for a William Brady on 20 Oct 1881 at Caherhurley a farmer. Although the age of 70 maybe wrong, the informant was Ellen Brady, who may be the wife of yet another brother, John Brady, who married Ellen Minogue 16 Feb 1874, albeit in RC Chapel.

One more fact to confirm her parents were alive in Mountshannon, in case:
Marriage certificate of Maria Brady 20 Aug 1855 Napier Street Collingwood, Victoria also recorded:
Maria's parents William Brady farmer Susan Holland (both living)
In regards to accuracy: Her husband Henry Rees' father John Rees (deceased) and Martha Tomkins (living).
[John Rees died 4 Jun 1838 Loo Choo farm, Haverfordwest; Martha Tomkins was from London Wall, carpet and linen merchants]

Based on two facts, the land assessment of 1855 in Mountshannon, where Obadiah Brady was recorded as the Wesleyan schoolmaster; and the 1855 marriage of Maria Brady to Henry Rees in Collingwood, Victoria, where the Presbyterian minister recorded members of the adjunct of the Wesleyan Denomination, then we can confirm that the Brady family were one of the Protestant families living in Mountshannon, and who may have experienced some of the violence from the majority Catholic population that historian Gerard Madden researched.
Along with the effects of the economic conditions in Ireland, requiring the farmer William Brady and his wife Susannah Holland to rent their home from Mary Tandy, this may have also led to the decision of this Brady family to emigrated to Victoria.
Can anyone find any death records for William Brady and or his wife Susannah Holland in Mountshannon post 1855 or another son Henry Brady?

From the Obituary, I read that he spent time in Avoca amongst the gold diggers; which was very pleasing to read, as after his sister Maria married Henry Rees 20 Aug 1855 Collingwood [Melbourne], they lived in tents for many years, whilst her husband searched for gold, before settling in Avoca. Thus, I am sure that brother and sister were reunited.
Okay, that means Maria has certainly arrived in Victoria, four years or more before her brother.
It is hard to imagine that Henry Rees, who lived in a stately home on a farm near Haverfordwest and now it would seem that Maria Brady has come from a farming family, have lived for years in a tent in the cold and wet conditions of Central Victoria where she gave birth to eleven children.

I have made some notes of the marriages you have provided.
I did find a list of Methodist preachers in Victoria and Obadiah Brady was not on that list either.
