I am looking for a Alfred Reid in the 1901 census.  His details are as follows:-

Name:-  Alfred Reid
DOB:-  approx 1886 (so about 14 in 1901)
Place born:-  Unknown
Location:-  possible Preston, Lancs (in1906 he was living at 37 Charlotte Street, Preston)

Family:-  Father is Thomas Edward Reid, an Iron dresser in 1906

I am afraid thats all in information I have.  I hope it is enough to get a good match.

I am looking for for a Hannah born 1830-1832 in Rostherne, Cheshire  She could possibly be a Hannah Taylor married to a Joseph Taylor.

In the 1851 she was an unmarried servant as Hannah Beswick age 19 living with her parents in Rostherne, Cheshire.

Any possibilities would be useful

I have to say you have just put me into shock with your posting.  I am related to JAMES HENRY HOBBS. 

I have extensively investigated my own family tree but I have mostly drawn blanks on the Hobbs side.  Eveline Agnes PILE and JAMES HENRY HOBBS divorced and became completely estranged not long after they were married and until now I have known nothing about what happened to him or about his South African roots.

I have a huge amount of information on my family that I will be more than happy to share
