Hello Chas,
Could you kindly confirm a marriage of a John Shipton to an Ann Smith 16/04/1780? Are there any other Shipton marriages around this date or burials? Thank you for looking.

Stirlingshire / Dunsmore Sarah death Stirlingshire 1830-1836
« on: Tuesday 27 May 08 18:17 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone help us to find information on the death of Sarah Dunsmore between 1830 - 1836 in Stirlingshire, possibly Airth? Her husband was Adam; he was born in Ireland. He then went on to marry Mary Ann Aird.
Thank you & here's hoping.

Lancashire / Re: Blue Coat School
« on: Wednesday 04 October 06 18:33 BST (UK)  »
Hello Agnes,
We were doing some research for a pupil at Liverpool's Bluecoat School recently at about the same time period as your grandfather. At Liverpool Record Office they have the school's Admission & Dismissal Register available to view. You would need the 1891 - 1962 Register with ref: no: 377BLU. This would give you name, date of birth, admission date, parents, entry of marriage of parents, date of baptism, circumstances, by whom kept, residence, to whom apprenticed, when apprenticed & where.
Good hunting,
Graham

Northumberland / Re: Parish Registers for Berwick-Upon -Tweed 1572-1924
« on: Friday 28 July 06 14:59 BST (UK)  »
Hello Sharon,
When you are ready, we would like to take up your kind offer of searching through Berwick Parish Records. We know Elizabeth Hogg married James Holme at Holy Trinity, Berwick on 18/12/1808. What we would like to know is any information on Elizabeth Hogg - i.e. her birth - probably about 1786, her parents, siblings etc. anything you can dig up. It would be most appreciated. Thank you.
