I'm searching for Henry & Catherine Sockett who moved from Swansea to Bath in the late 1830's.
They both died in Bath, Henry in Dec 1847 & Catherine in Jan 1849.
I would be grateful for any information.

I hope that someone can help solve this mystery.

I am looking for a Henry Sockett who was resident in Swansea around the 1830's.
He defended Dic Penderyn in Cardiff in 1831. All records of this trial are "missing".
Since this is the 175th anniversary of Dic's execution I find it important to find this elusive ancestor of mine.

Not much to go on but I hope someone can help.

Only child I know of Edward c1822.
Possibly farming family, as in 1881 Edward jnr. was farming at Crick Heath.

Herefordshire Lookup Requests / 1881 Look up Family of Joseph & Elizabeth Sockett please

I am trying to check the family in 1881. I was given information that there was a Martyne Sockett (b 1879) in the family.
All searches have drawn a blank on this person. I have no idea if Martyne is male or female or even if my information is correct. I would be grateful if someone could check. I believe the family were living in Holmer.
