Monmouthshire Lookup Requests / Farr and Rowberry
« on: Sunday 07 October 18 12:49 BST (UK)  »
I would be grateful for help I have got back as far as a marriage certificate between Emma Rowberry aged 22 and George Farr 22 a dealer

They married in 1853 in Bristol, Georges father was William a dealer Emma's father was John a coach proprietor

The witnesses were Edward Farr and Sophia Jenkins

On the 1871 census Emma was living in Pontnewynydd as a widow  ( born Brecon 1834 )with her were children Henry 13 Elizabeth 14 and William Farr 9 (the line I am following )
I cant for the life of me find them in 1861 which would  tell me were her husband George was born  so i can get back further I am not even sure of Emma Rowberry descendants

In  1851 There is an Emma (Trevethin Pontypool) with mother Elizabeth, no father at house although Elizabeth is said to be married  In 1841 there is an Emma is living Trevethin Pontypool  with father John and mother Mary same dates of birth but different place of birth
I am wondering why they married in Bristol as well

London and Middlesex / Richard Flood marriage
« on: Saturday 09 December 17 12:21 GMT (UK)  »
I have the details of Richards marriage to Sophia Dixon in Shoreditch in 25 Dec 1870 in English  Marriages on Ancestry but there is no further details available
I know that Sophia's father was George Dixon and mother is  Rebecca
Is there a London web site that might help I have spent so much on certificates already
There are two Richards I think that be my man that's why I need his father to get back further The one everyone has traced back on Ancestry believe it to be Richard Flood with father George from Kent I have a feeling that Richard was born in St martins in the Field  Workhouse with mother Amelia in 1853 a legitimate child of Richard Flood thanks
