please can someone help me find the marriage of a
florence martin born 1876 in cheriton fitzpaine, parents joseph martin and lydia langworthy.
she would have married sometime after 1901 possibly to a sidney mc carthy or robert harrad.
also good chance they emigrated to the states afterwards.

can anyone help, i'm trying to find a Florence or florina Martin born in 1876 in cheriton fitzpaine.parents are joseph martin and lydia langworthy.
last record can find for her is on the 1891 census age 15 working as a domestic servant for a doctor called robert gorden in 1 marine place, sidmouth.
she is supposed to have married and move to the states these are the details i have been unable to find.

also trying to locate what happen to one of her brothers,
Walter w. Martin born 1871 in cheriton fitzpaine, he was possible a teacher and may have move to somerset.

Devon / PUGSLEY OR HUXTABLE update

i am searching several family trees and wondered if anyone out there has an interest in the Pugsleys or Huxtables.

1st. i have a William Pugsley,(my great grandfather) born 1883 poss. at west buckland died 09-03-1960 age 77 buried chittlehampton
married Jane ? born 1888 died 16-02-1970 age 82 buried chittlehampton.
they had 5 children.since found out he worked as a game keeper on lord fortescues castle hill estate, south molton and that he served in ww1 as a private in the 9th devons.
may have found is parents and siblings names ,so now trying to find conect to confirm. parents poss. richard and sarah and poss. serve ww1 with his 2 brothers charles pugsley and arthur pugsley.i have williams service number . how do i find out about this?

2nd. Albert Huxtable ( only info apart from may have come from north devon area) he married Maude ? born 1876,maude short died 08-12-1960 age 84 buried tawstock, north devon.married twice 2nd husband robert short.
albert and maude had 8 children.still need loads of help here.

would appreciate any info to help kick start these properly

hi,
is there anyone out there searching the Martin family name.
i have as far back as a Robert Martin born 1799 in broadhembury, he was a tanners labourer, he married a Sarah Bambury born 1807 in payhembury, marriage date 12 july 1826 or 27-07-1827.as far as i'm aware they had 5 children, one of whom is my great great grandfather.they haved live in feniton, ottery st mary and eventually my great grandfather settled in cheriton fitzpaine.
hope someone may have more info on Robert Martin and his parents etc.have traced his parents and siblings thanks to OPC.so now trying to trace roberts father and mother.
they are called robert b. 1778 and sarah had 4 children- ann b. 1804, elizabeth b. 1087, charlotte b. 1811 all in broadhembury

Pembrokeshire / henry thomas/family

i know its a long shot as Thomas is a popular name but maybe someone out there can help with this.

trying to trace partners family tree and not having much luck as his grandad Henry Thomas seems to have fallen out with his parents/siblings and never spoke of them again as far as we know.this is what we know.

HENRY THOMAS born 29-03-1888 in pembroke area, died 1972 in Nantyffllon,nr.bridgend, s.wales was a miner before he died.
He married a MARGARET THOMAS ( maiden name also THOMAS)born in the narberth area.they had 6 children of their own.
He is supposed to have had 8 or 9 brothers and 1 sister who was called annie, 2 names for brothers are benjamin and jim, these 3 moved to birkenhead, men worked on liverpool docks.others were farmers in the pembroke area.

can anyone help/ as would appreciate the kick start with this.

not sure if anyone can help,but thought it was worth a try.
trying to find a Henry Thomas born 29-03-1888 in pembroke area died 1972 age 84 nantyffllon, s.wales.
married a margaret thomas from narberth
trying to find out more about him/family which is harnd as he seems to have had falling out with them and moved to nantyffllon.
