Don't know if you can restore this or not, it's a photo, off a photo, of my friends Dad, he was the husband of lovely girl, it had not been been placed correctly in the frame. It would be nice if something could be done with it to go alongside the lovely girl photo's.

Jessie had Brunette hair & hazel eyes.

John Armstrong born 1838 Belfast, married May anne Topping.

James Armstrong born 1861 ? married Ellen Worthington born 1861, in Burscough Lancs on Xmas day 1882.

Thomas Edward Armstrong born 1901 Liverpool, married Jessie Waters born 1907.

Clearing up gaps in my last post, looking for this family in the following Census's 1881/91/1901

Most of the following details were provided by this forum.

Thomas Thompson b 1808 Kendal
Rebecca Bell b 1812 Stangate

Married 1833 Kendal

Dorothea/Dorothy dau b1840 Kendal, was she an only child.

1841 Thomas Rebecca Dorothy Kendal

1851 Thomas Rebecca Dorothy Kendal

1861 Thomas & Dorothy Kendal, Rebecca not at home ?

1870 Marriage Dorothy Thompson & Dawson Martindale in Liverpool

1871 Thomas & Rebecca Kendal

1877 Rebecca died age 63yrs Kendal

1881 No sign of Thomas possibly died beforehand, tried family search no luck

Can anyone fill in the gaps please.
