I have what I think maybe the birth cert for my Ggrandfather but now I'm second guessing myself and just want to make sure that it is correct. This is what I know according to documents:
*Marriage cert: married 1884 Age 20,(i.e. b. 1864) his father's name was James McAuley - Engine Driver.
*1891 UK census: age 24 (i.e. b. 1867), born Belfast
*1901 UK census: age 34 (i.e. b. 1867), born Ireland
*1911 UK census: age 44 (i.e. b. 1867), born England
*Death cert:1924 Died age 58 (i.e. b 1866)
I no longer have a subscription to Roots Ireland to double check for more births around these dates, with a father called James in Belfast. But, I do have a record that shows a date of birth for 1865, father James and mother Fanny Rice. How can I prove that this is the correct record? Any help is greatly appreciated.
