In 1871 living in St leonards - probably there in 1861 but in Great oakley in 1851.
William Crosby aged 41 in 1871
Wife? died by 1871
daughter ann aged 21 in 1871
Sarah aged 19 in 1871
William aged 16 in 1871
John aged 14 in 1871
susanah aged 12 in 1871

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me with info on the Wilks family. Caroline Betsy Wilks, daughter of James and Caroline, was christened 15 jan 1852 st Marys Bermondsey. I am looking for a marriage for James ans Caroline and a possibility of other children. Perhaps they were on the 1851 census.
The only census info I have for them is from 1871 onwards when they were in Essex.

Good evening - I am hoping someone can help me with my ggrandmothers family.
In 1871 James wilks was listed as follows

Mary A Burton 33 Soho Visitor Loughton Essex
Caroline Wilks 52 Loughton, Essex, England Wife Loughton Essex
Caroline B Wilks 19 Bermondsey, Middlesex, England Daughter Loughton Essex
James Wilks 52 Dummorce, Essex, England Head Loughton Essex ( I presume this is Dunmorrow!!)

I am hoping that by 1861 they were back in Essex.
I also do not have any marriage details for Caroline and James. Carrie B married O.T.W. steffen in 1872 in loughton.

I looking for census info on william GIBBINS b 1811 in brigstock, wife Elizabeth Sarah in both these census. My gggrandfather William was born in 1852 and they were residing in 4 Campden House Mews at the time. By 1871 they were living in York terrace mews with younger children Henry, harriett and ann however the couple were married in 1835 and then there Eliza, and Jane louisa with probably a few in between. any help would be appreciated
