Ayrshire / Cross Keys - Tarbolton

I wonder if anyone can help me with this query?
In c1782 there was an inn called the Cross Keys in Tarbolton, some references say that this was another name for Manson's Tavern, other references say that the Cross Keys was an inn completely separate from Manson's, which is correct?
I'm off the opinion that they were two separate places, in two different locations, does anyone know this to be fact? and if so, where were they located in Tarbollton, and who was the Landlord of the Cross Keys at this time?
many thanks for any help in this,
