Canada / HARRY JAMES & DOROTHY MAY PARKER NEE BEALE
« on: Thursday 15 November 18 21:58 GMT (UK)  »
Dorothy May Beale born May 1897 Maidenhead Berkshire married March 1915 Harry James Parker born C1894 Father Tom Benson Parker.
They emigrated to Alberta Canada in 1920. they are indicated on the Canadian 1921 census which seems to indicate that HJP was previously there in 1904? so may have had relatives there.
There may have been 3 children from the marriage.
the marriage cert indicates that he was a soldier in the Yorkshire regt but have not found a record yet.
have yet to research ships records to confirm relevant children.

to paraphrase, is there anyone related out there?

Lancashire Lookup Requests / GAYNOR
« on: Sunday 03 May 15 22:30 BST (UK)  »
James and Mary Ann Gaynor (nee Garrett) married in Ireland in 1871, they appear on the UK 1881 census (RG11 PIECE3683 FOLIO107 PAGE11) with 4 daughters, they returned to Ireland about 1892.
10 children were born with 7 surviving. I have only traced the 2 sons who were born in England back to Ireland (none of the daughters), there were 5 daughters and 5 sons in total, none of the daughters appear on the Irish 1901 census but both sons born in the UK (James and William) do appear on the Irish 1901 census, their lives in Ireland have been traced.
does this info ring a bell with any Gaynor's from Liverpool/Lancashire?

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / rose phillips/clark/white *COMPLETED*
« on: Wednesday 24 October 12 22:10 BST (UK)  »
hi guys & gals

i have an other enigma

rose white married my wife's great uncle in 1940 (they were both senior citizens)

on the marriage cert it states that her father was j phillips.

the only cross reference i can find on 1901 & 1911 FindMyPast and through marriage is to c j white & rose clark (and clarke).

i cannot find a marriage between a phillips and clark(e) age wise (rose was born C1876 and married white in 1898 in surrey, the only one i can find) so is there a 2nd marriage or divorce of the father and why would she possibly take her mothers maiden name or maybe her step mother's name?
