Buckinghamshire / Frederick Bernard Pearce

Hi All,

I am helping my friend with his tree. His grandfather was Frederick Bernard Pearce and was born 15/4/1916 (mothers maiden name Saunders) and died in 1980. According to his family his parents were Frederick and Gwyneth (Queenie). They were alive at Frederick Bernards sons wedding in 1964. The family lived around Widmer End i am told.

I can only find one Possibility for Fred and Queenies marriage but her name is different. Is there anywhere to find a baptism for Frederick in 1916, to confirm a parent or can anyone see anything i can't? He will be getting certificates but was trying to gather info without at the moment.

I just found out today who my fathers father was thanks to some help from the Hampshire archives.

I know that he was born 17/2/1908 in Whitchurch, Hampshire and that his parents may be Joseph and Elizabeth Sarah Mackrel.

I just can't find him on the 1911 census, can anyone see him

Hi,

wondering if anyone is able to help me.

I am looking for a marriage (maiden name) for my relative.

William Spencer born c.1790 married Ann (?) born 1775 ish (age varies substantially from 1841 to 1851). The first few children are christened in Marton (first in 1810). Ann states place of birth as Kexby in 1851 so perhaps this is where they married.

I have started a personal plot by plot map and photographic record of each plot. This not complete but getting there. Also i have corrected many of the burial details on the GFHS cd and have plot references for many that are not shown on the cd. Place your request here or PM for a photo. Is anyone able to lookup a baptism for a Mary Lewis born c.1855 Carmarthen Town, perhaps in St Peter? Her father was Daniel Lewis 1826-1903 and he came from Newchurch area. She moved to Ferndale, Glamorgan in about 1871 as she is there on the census until her death in 1907 (she married Thomas Syms) I can't find her in 1861 with Daniel, and infact can't find a definite Daniel in 1861 either

I am looking for possible information for Frederick Syms who was born in Ferndale 8/2/1878 and married Mary Hannah Harris. He died on 26/9/1904 in Ferndale and i have lots of information on him and his family.

What i am looking for is information on his running "career" and whether anyone can indentify anything to do with the attached photos. In the photos he is seen with his trainer, Fred is the one standing. In the later photo he is shown having won a cup. Would there be details about this in local papers of the time? Anything would help
