ultimately trying to find death record for the 1st James but don't have much to go on. all help appreciated.

1891/01 look up plse for Helen Lane, could be anywhere. According to Helens death record,she died Callander,Scotland and have calulated her birth from age she died. Helen babt 1888 parents as William Lane no forename of mother on her death record, m.s as Mathieson. I can find no birth for Helen or her parents marriage so last shot with census look up. Thanks

Europe / Complete Help to find French marriage after 1914

I am looking for a French marriage after 1914 and needing a bit of help. James Vick b1880 London, Army Captain married 1901 Woolwich moved to Scotland where his last child was born June 1914 in Glasgow. James Vick deserted his wife and children in Scotland sometime after 1914 was stationed in France and married a girl called Marcella surname unknown. Is there a way to find the year he married Marcella ?

I have tried to have a go myself but not speaking any French do not understand the sites.
Is this possible or am I wasting time trying to find a marriage year

all help and advise appreciated.
