Shropshire / Samual Gilliam
« on: Monday 15 February 10 19:25 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to trace my great great great grandfather by the name of Samual Gilliam, his parents and any siblings.

The information I have so far is that he was born in 1832 in a place called Kinlet near Kidderminster and then moved to Lavister near Wrexham.

Any information on the whereabouts of burials or grave inscriptions would be fantastic.

Thank you very much

Anglesey / Richard and Amelia Jones Llangeinwen
« on: Thursday 17 December 09 04:46 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all Im new to this site and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with tracing my family......

My great great grandparents were Richard and Amelia Jones(nee thomas).I have found them on an 1881 census in Llangeinwen, sub district Llanidan....street address Ceinwen Terrace...

Richard Jones 38  b1843 General labourer
Amelia Jones 40 b1841 Lab wife
William Jones 13 b1868
Thomas Jones 7 b1874
Eliza Jones 9 b1872

Thomas is my great grandfather, a railway signalman but Im interested to know if William or Eliza went on to have a family, up to this day.......
And whether anybody might help me find Richard and Amelia's parents....

Any help would be appreciated, as all my family are now deceased except for my brother and we are keen to find our roots and possible distant relatives that may still be in Llangeinwen today...

I understand Jones is the worst surname to trace in Anglesey, but if anyone can help, thank you so much, you dont know how important this is to me...
Richard
