US Completed Requests / Catherine Callahan Manhattan COMPLETED

My great aunt Catherine Callahan was born iin Lislevane Cork in I believe 1863. I have a parish register entry which looks correct but all the US Census results give dob varying between 1865 and 1875. She emmigrated to New York in 1889 and married Michael Callahan in abt 1896. Michael died sometime between 1910 and 1920 and CATHERINE CALLAHAN never remarried.
She was living at 245 Clinton Street in 1910/1920 and 1930. I have found her in 1931 and 1946 Telephone directories still at this address. In fact the 1946 gives her as Callahan KATHERINE Mrs living at 134E96 which I believe is Clinton Street.
I have tried to find her death entry but without any certainty especially as her stated age is unclear.
Does anybody have any Tel Directories later than 1946 to see how long she remained at 245 Clinton Street. This might help me pinpoint her date of death.
Also can anybody find an obituary for her post 1946.
Would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Canada Lookup Requests Completed / COMPLETED WITH THANKS Dorothy Buck Emmigration and Marriage

I am trying to find an emmigration record of Dorothy Buck b London abt 1898. She emmigrated to Canada abt 1920 to be with her Canadian boyfriend.
She married and had children but I do not know where in Canada. Parents were Arthur and Mary Edith.
I have looked on FindMyPast and cannot find an obvious emmigration record.
Would appreciate any help or some ideas of where to look as Canadian genealogy is completely new to me. Would love to find a marriage record for the early 20's. Thanks.

I have been searching for
JOHN DAVID MORRISON
IRIS FLORENCE MAY MORRISON
CAROL ANNE MORRISON ( dau). difficult search but I have finally found the following
1991 Electoral Roll Bundoora Victoria John D and IRIS M (I have address)
1998 " " " " John D alone (August)
1999 " " " " Nobody at same address.
This would probably indicate that John David Morrison died between Aug 1998 and Aug 1999 and Iris F M Morrison died between 1991 and 1998.
Unfortunately there are no death records available for this timeframe.
Can anybody give some advice on how I can trace possible records. There is nothing on the Ryerson Index.
Also can anybody access historical electoral roll to see how long the family were living in Bundoora and also at which year did IRIS F M disappear from the rolls. I would be interested to trace dau Carol Anne whom I presume could have married late 1960's early 1970's.
Hope that somebody can help with this long term search. Thanks

Australia Lookups completed / Electoral Registers SA
« on: Thursday 19 June 08 15:09 BST (UK) »I have been searching for some time a family who emmigrated to Canberra in 1958. I have received the full immigration record from the NAA and was surprised to find that their stated destination was Adelaide SA. I had been told that they had settled in Victoria or NSW and my searches there have been lengthy and not surprisingly unsuccesful.
If anybody can look up the current or historic electoral registers, could they contact me by PM as it is possible that the family are still living. I can supply full details.
Would highly appreciate any help in locating any records on this most elusive family. Thanks

Hi,
In a recent clearance of a cousin's house, we found this medal with a number of typical WW1 medals. It was dated 12 Nov 1855. I have tried to find the history but without success.
Can anybody identify its history. It has a pin so could well be a uniform badge.

Australia / Help-Not sure where to start

I have discovered somebody in my family emmigrated to Melbourne. Details from emmigration record
John D Morrison ,wife Iria(should be Iris) and dau. Carol Morrison.
Arrival 31 March 1958 London to Melbourne on the Strathlaid.
I have birth and marriage details of the family in Middlesex.
I would now like to find what happened to them but have absolutely no idea where to look. I am not sure if they stayed in Victoria or moved on. I have looked at the Resources site but can find no link to any BMD records. Hope I am not asking the impossible but would appreciate any ideas and help. Thanks
