Useful Links / Books: Downloadable E-Books Genespdf.com

I came across this website recently and thought it worth sharing with other rootschatters!! The provide downloadble genealogy documents and seem to have a lot of documents that I haven't seen elsewhere, but then I'm no expert. They do charge for their documents, but the prices seem very reasonable although I have been told that some of the same documents a re avilable free elsewhere, so shop around.

Here's the link  www.genespdf.com

Hope it's of use.

I've just come across this website, which has a lot of genealogy information. They do charge, but the prices seem very reasonable.

Armagh / Armagh Ancestry

Does anyone know what happened to Armagh Ancestry? They used to be on this website (http://armagh.brsgenealogy.com/), but it's a dead link now. I'd love to get in  touch with anyone involved in that project.

Thanx

Does anyone have any information on the history of Aghagallon Cemetery? I know it's in Rock Lane and was consecrated around 1890, but any other information would be appreciated.

Armagh / Lurgan Ancestry website

Hi

I have just bought the domain name of lurganancestry.com.

I would very much like to continue the work started by Martin McGoldrick who sadly is no longer with us. I can handle the technical side of the website, but if anyone has any information, suggestions, or ideas on how we can develop this project, I would be glad to hear from them. My GGGrandfather was from Lurgan, so I have a love and interest in that region. This a non profit project and will remain free to all as long as I have anything to do with it.

I look forward to hearing from any interested parties.

Best Wishes ~ Ken

Hi

I’m looking for any information about my Aunt Catherine Austin born in Govan Glasgow on 25 March 1900. She was married on 26 April 1922 in St Andrew’s Chapel, Govan to Edward Donat. His father was Andrew Hamilton Donat and his mother was Ellen Lovie, but I have no more information about them.

As always any information will be deeply appreciated.

Best ~ Ken

Antrim / Johnston/Boon

Looking for any information on The Johnston family in Antrim. My Grandmother was Ellen Johnston born in Galgorm, Antrim on 18 February 1874. Her Father was Henry Johnston born in 1844 and died in July 1916. He married Mary Ann Boon, born in 1845. They had 9 children born between 1867 and 1888. They moved to Glasgow Scotland some time after their last child was born and Ellen died of Typhoid there in 1904.

Any information re Henry’s parents or Mary Ann’s would be a great help.

Thanks in advance

Armagh / Austin/Hamill

Hi

I am looking for any information regarding my Great Grand Father James Austin and My Great Grandmother Annie Hamill. They were married in Seagoe Catholic Church, Lurgan Co.Armagh  on 26 September 1850. They had 11 children all Baptised at Seagoe from 1851 to 1870. My Grandfather Joseph Austin and a lot of the family moved to Govan, Glasgow sometime between 1870 and 1896 when my father was born. I have found some information in the Griffiths 1864 Evaluations regarding them, but cannot find any birth records for them. My great Grandfather James Austin was born between 1825 and 1830, but I don’t know where. Any possible assistance or leads would be very much appreciated as I have reached a dead end now.

I have built a website for my family tree, which can be found at www.austinfamilytree.com

Thank you all in advance.

Best wishes  ~  Ken Austin
