Glamorganshire Resources & Offers / Historical Hospitals near Caerphilly

I am trying to find images of historical hospitals around the caerphilly area.  My grandparents lived in senghenydd, Glamorganshire at this time.  I have recently received this picture attached.  It shows my grandmother and a group of ladies all wearing slippers. I believe it is a hospital or convalescent place.  I thought at first it was caerphilly miners hospital but I am told it is not. The picture was taken approx 1940's.  I have googled it over several hours and cant find anything that looks similar in architect to caerphilly miners hospital.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  thank you

I wonder if you can date this picture for me please?.  I am trying to track where and when it was taken as that seems to be an official building in the background.  Any help would be appreciated.   My grandmothers  oldest  known whereabouts was from Caerau area south wales in 1915.  Looks like this  could be the womens voluntary service. Not sure though.  Thank you in advance.

Can someone please help me these are pictures of my husbands family from Berkshire.  The one of the couple are Ellen Shurvin and Alfred Blay.  The second one is of Ellen with her family.  The third one Elsie Blay.  I would like to know if someone can date these pictures and also is it possible to get some clarity with the faces please.  They  appear rather dark.

Hi,

Is it possible to date this picture thank you.  The names are William Phillips and Teddy Phillips my grandfather and uncle who were taken in this picture.   They belonged to Aber and Senghenydd Buffs.  I am just trying to piece together the dates for my research.

Glamorganshire / Glyntaff look ups - Phillips Pontypridd

Hi  I wonder if anyone can help me with a look up at Glyntaff Crematorium for one of my uncles.  My grandmother I am told lost quite a few children twins at birth.  I have now found one childs death.  I have been told Glyntaff is one of the oldest crematoriums in Wales so feel if I can confirm that  Charles was buried there maybe I can then find other children that may have been cremated or buried there.    I have the details as: Charles Phillips Born 08/12/1929 and died 09/12/1929.  The death certificate indicates it was a premature birth.  The parents were Annie Ellen Thomas and William Henry Phillips.   The lived in Trethomas from 1917 - 1933.
 Any help would be appreciated.

Hi I have an old photograph of my grand parents unfortunately it needs some restoration I wonder if anyone can help me with this as it is quite bad.
The Photograph was taken in south wales highly probable Senghenydd as that is where my grandad used to meet in the buffs.
Names of the people are annie ellen thomas and William henry phillips both are deceased.
I have no idea the age of this photograph as my gran looks reasonably young she was born in
1892 and my grandfather 1877.

 Hi wonder if anyone can help.  I live the other side of the world but am looking for census information for my grandparents and great grandparents from 1929 - 1934.  They lived in 29 William street, trethomas.  I was told they were not at this address after 1929 but have just received one of my uncles birth certificate which indicated they were definitely there in 1930.  Is it possible someone could look it up and see who was resident at that address during the years mentioned above.  My grandparents names were William phillips and annie ellen phillips ( nee Thomas).  My great grandparents were also at this address in 1929.  Ellen Thomas and Thomas Thomas.  Thomas fell off the radar in 1929 I just need confirmation whether he was still showing up on the electoral roll but I know that ellen Thomas appeared in abertridwr in 1934 as I have her death certificate.  I would appreciate any help in this matter because I am such a distance away.  thank you.

Census Lookup and Resource Requests / CENSUS REGISTRATION DISTRICT

I wonder if someone can help with the with registration district and sub districts  for Trethomas, Monthmouthshire and glamorganshire.  I have tried on several websites to bring up the  1901 & 1911 census for these areas  and in particular the addresses  but cannot seem to locate what I am looking for.  Can you tell me how I should be looking for 29 William street, Trethomas, Monmouthshire and 35 margam street, caerau, Glamorganshire.  They don't appear to exist.

Other Countries / MANNINGS LAND - BARBADOS

WILLIAM HENRY PHILLIPS

Can anyone help me as my grandfather was born in Barbados.  His baptism certificate indicates he was baptized in the chapel of st lukes in the parish of st George on the island of Barbados 1880.
It states the abode of the family  was mannings land.  Can anyone tell me where is mannings land?
