Ireland / Patrick McHugh - no county information

My gggrandfather, Patrick McHugh was married in Dundee, Scotland in 1839 - age listed as 20 - place of birth as Ireland. He married Margaret Hargeton - her family originally came from Sligo. I have been trying to trace which county Patrick came from with no success. And, not really sure of his date of birth although it was probably sometime between 1818-20. The 1841 Census for Dundee shows Patrick and Margaret and, at a separate address, John, James and Mary McHugh - I suspect they were his brothers and sister-in-law. All listed as country of origin, Ireland.

Any ideas of how I can identify a county?
