I have tried tirelessly to find the parents of Edward Homewood 1829 Newington 
The best lead I have is

Frances Burr
31 Oct 1852
St Mary Newibgton Southwark
Fathers names Edward Homewood and James Burr
Looks like his father is Edward Homewood as well.
Genes Reunited 'find ancestors' have been very helpful with more recent information but I have this now so its information prior to 1829 that I am looking for. I have now come to a dead end.
I wonder if anyone can help me

Gloucestershire / Looking for parents of Robert Tucker 1798 - 1886

Apologies but this is only the second time of using Rootschat so hope I don't send anyone on a wild goose chase or confuse anyone
My ancestor is Robert Tucker 1798 - 1886. As far as I can see he was married to Louisa 1820 - 1889 and they both lived in Bristol Gloucester, Somerset.
Robert was christened 16-9-1798 in St James Bristol, Gloucester
In England Birth and Christenings 1538 - 1975 I believe his father to be John Tucker and mother is Mary. the index is C00887-7 and source film 1596534. Not sure if these numbers mean anything.
I have his son etc but trying to work backwards now and find his parents. 1841 census show he was 42 living in Gloucester but no details of who was in the household.
Can anyone offer any help - how do I research this further?

Hi - I'm a beginner on roots chat and this is my first post.
I wonder if anyone has information on James Bolton. He is my husband's grandfather. I believe he was born Adamstown Cardiff in 12-12-1888. However on 1911 census his birthdate is listed as 1890. I believe his death to be Cardiff Jan-Feb-Mar 1972. His ww army records state he was a platelayer. He has a brother John Bolton who lived at 18 Humphrey Street Cardiff.John's date of birth was 7/9/1914 Cardiff. James' wife is listed as Catherine Frazer and they had 15 children and I have their names and dates of birth. The army record lists first two as William James Bolton Frazer 7/10/11 and John Frazer 7/9/14 both Cardiff. His military history is for Monmouthshire Royal Reserve Engineers and his army number was 5687. Catherine Frazer married James on 8/11/1913 at Cardiff Registry Office. Witnesses James and Mary Ellen Sullivan.
A member of the family thinks at some time he was in Sheffield - but I can't verify this.
I am trying to trace Jame's parents so I can grow the tree. Does anyone have any information or have James in their tree.
