London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / how to prove parents on the 1841 census
« on: Thursday 30 November 06 02:06 GMT (UK)  »
1841 census #68 lower Thames street,

James Hennessey age 28

Susan Hennessey age 49

Robert  esworthy age 16

john esworthy age 12

William wills age 20

ed Phillips age 28

William esworthy age 20

Susanna married James 6 April 1840, at saint Mary Magdalen, bermondsey.her first husband henry esworthy died 28 November 1839 at # 68 lower Thames street.

john esworthy(listed above) and henry esworthy (i believe henry to be johns brother) .are listed in 1851 census  at #66 and #68 lower Thames street.

i do have a 1855 death certificate for one of john esworthys children that lists Susanna as present at death at # 68 lower Thames street.

because the 1841 does not state how they are related how do i prove Susanna is the mother of john and Robert  esworthy?

i have much more information on this family so please ask for any thing that may help.

john esworthy was my GG grandfather.

thank you,
Eric

could someone please check for a henry esworthy, living at goodmans yard, London in 1841. occupation was a painter or custom house officer. i am hoping that goodmans yard is not to large so that this is possible.
