Warwickshire / REPEATED POST - SORRY! Brooklands Hostel Coventry

Hello

I wonder if anyone can help me find out more about Brooklands Hostel in Coundon, Coventry. I think it may have been what was described as an 'industrial hostel' but I'm not sure.  I think a lot of Irish people were staying there in the early 1950's and I am particularly interested in the period 1950-53 because the electoral records show my Father as living there at that time. Photographs or anything about life there would be very helpful, but any information or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Sligo / Schools in Ballyconnell Sligo

My Grandmother taught in Ballyconnell National School in the early 1920s; her own daughters attended the school, and I assumed that her only son, my Dad, did too. I've just learned that he didn't. Can anyone please advise me how I might identify another school(s) in the area that he may have attended? I've had no luck so far.

My Grandmother was the teacher in Ballyconnell School Sligo in the early 1920s; her own daughters attended the school and I assumed that my Father, her only son, would have done so too. I've just learned that he didn't! I'd be very grateful for any advice on how to find out which school in the area he did go to.

Hi I've just found out that my Dad was sent to St Joseph's Industrial School in Dublin in 1927 when he was 13 as his Mother died. Can anybody please advise me as to how I might find records of his stay there? Thank you.
