England / William John Bryant & Adelaide Baillie
« on: Saturday 23 October 21 18:18 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for suggestions for finding a marriage record for William John Bryant and Adelaide Baillie. Adelaide is recorded as the widow of William John Bryant in her 1887 death record.   I can place Adelaide Baillie in Cambridge through the 1861, 1871 censuses and an 1875-76 electoral register.  Adelaide Bryant then appears in Stratford living on Romford Road in the 1881 census.  I have not had luck finding their marriage online using various name variations e.g. FreeBMD, Ancestry, Familysearch.

I am looking Geschlechterfolgen Treichel.  It is two volumes self published by Ferdinand Traichel in 1968 and 1970.  I want the actual books.  I have been unable to find them outside of various libraries.

Cambridgeshire Lookup Requests / Adelaide Baillie Cambridge
« on: Saturday 13 June 20 15:15 BST (UK)  »
I have been searching for years for information about my wife's great great grandmother Adelaide Baillie.  Her birth was registered in Kensington Union in Middlesex in 1838.
I have traced her to Cambridge where she appeared with her parents in East Barnwell in the 1861 Census RG 9/1024/106 p 16

I am unable to find her in any of the subsequent England censuses.  What I do have is
1. Baptism of her son Harry Edward in the parish of St. Paul in 1863 (no. 1395)
2. Cambridgeshire Electoral Registers; Reference: CBL/1875-76 in East Barnwell (no. 864).

I think that I can find her son Harry in the 1871 England census in Newton, but I cannot find Adelaide in that census or subsequent censuses.

Adelaide has stumped me and I am asking for help in finding out if she stayed in Cambridge and what happened to her.
