This photo might be my 2nd Great Grandfather Anthony Williams (1853-1938). The inset in the top left hand corner is definitely his wife Emma nee Hughes (1862-1953), their daughter Elizabeth Williams (1890-1967) (my Great Grandmother) and her eldest daughter Mary (May) Parry (1915-1997) on her knee as a baby. A family member doubts this is Anthony (although that's what is written on the back of the original) and believes it might be his son Robert Williams (1893-1962). There is a striking resemblance with Robert, but it's not unusual for a son to resemble their father.

The inset can therefore be dated to 1915. Anthony would have been 63 in 1915 and Robert would have been 22, but I think the main photo could be a much earlier photo. I haven't seen a vintage photo with an inset like this before. Please date the main photo of the seated man? Is this Anthony or Robert?

I am trying to trace the origin/parentage of my 3rd great-grandfather Richard Edwards, who I believe was born in Llanbeulan.

He appears in the following censuses:
1841 - Foel, Holyhead Mountain
1851 - Goferydd, South Stack

Richard Edwards b. 1802 Llanbeulan
Wife: Anne Edwards (nee Thomas?) b. 1807 Bodedern
Dau: Ann Edwards b. 1829 Holyhead
Son: William Edwards b. 1832 Holyhead
Dau: Jane Edwards b. 1834 Holyhead
Son: Thomas Edwards b. 1835 Holyhead
Son: Richard Edwards b. 1838 Holyhead
Dau: Margaret Edwards b. 1840 Holyhead
Dau: Mary Edwards b. 1842 Holyhead
Son: Charles Edwards b. 1844 Holyhead
Son: Hugh Edwards b. 1846 Holyhead
Dau: Elinor Edwards b. 1846 Holyhead
Son: John Edwards b. 1849 Holyhead

I’d be very grateful of any help.
