I'm researching my paternal line to Clan MacIain of Ardnamurchan. I can get back to William MacKean, born abt. 1615 in Ardnamurchan. Does anyone know who his parents were or how to connect him to Clan Donald?

Caithness / McKean descendants of Clan Gunn

I'm researching my husbands paternal line. He is a McKean. His family came from Clan Gunn in Caithness and eventually were in Glasgow before heading to Canada.

Does anyone have any info or resources on the McKeans that came form Clan Gunn?
