Australia Lookups completed / Louis Gordon MUNRO died 1955

Can anyone help me with some further information and/or point me in the right direction for :
Louis Gordon Munro, born 11-11-1886 Edinburgh, Scotland. Father Alexander Munro, Mother Ellen Hunter. He disappeared from Scottish records after the 1901 census returns but I have discovered that he died in Queensland 09.02-1955.
The QLD BDM isn't loading for some reason!

Can anyone with an understanding of this please point me in the right direction----
I have rolls and rolls of 35 mm b/w negatives (film strips) left by my father. 400 ASA - 1600 ASA. I tried developing some but they are really grainy. What can I do? Is there some way I could convert them into digital?

Technical Help / *!! lwp file extension HELP PLEASE!!*

Could someone help with this problem, please. I have been sent an e-mail with an attachment with an lwp file extension. I can't open it. I was pointed in the direction of several sites offering downloads of 'readers' of these files (Lotus Word Pro) but they don't work! Has anyone any experience of this or any ideas how I could solve this? Many thanks.
