Somerset / Help needed please Birth reg., Henry MURLEY
« on: Tuesday 16 May 17 08:32 BST (UK)  »
Thomas Murley marries a Fanny LUMBERtT / LAMBERT, in Wells district, in 1855.

On the 1861 census they are living in Meare, with them are Henry and Jane.
Henry born c 1854 Meare and Jane c1858.
they are transcribedas, MARLEY.

I can find the birth reg., for Jane, June 1858, wells, mother maiden name Lumber.

Henry, however, is proving more difficult.
I cannot find a birrth reg., for him.

But I have found a possible baptism, in Godney, Father Thomas, Mother Frances, date, 22 Jul 1855
Problem being the surname ... MERLIN.

A search for a Thomas Merlin marriage and a Henry Merlin birth, brings no results.

But, there is a Thomas Merlin in Meare, in 1861, wife Elizabeth, but no son called Henry.
Thank you.

:-\  Not sure, where to post this.

I am visually impaired and I am now finding I need more assistance, reading the images I find, with my FH research.
Sometimes, it can be a couple of words, others half to a whole page.

I am wondering, if there  is someone interested in helping me, by e mail, please ?

Thank you.

Somerset / 1851, Help needed please finding Fredrick LESTER
« on: Saturday 13 May 17 21:24 BST (UK)  »
In Glastonbury, there are 2 Frederick Lesters baptised.

Frederick Lester, to Jacob and Sarah, 04 Apr 1831

Frederick Fry Lester, to Isaac and Hannah, 18 Jan 1832
( Isaac has a prison record, on trial 25 Mar 1851 acquitted  son Alfred has one too )

On the 1841 census, both Fredricks, are at home, with their parents and siblings, in Glastonbury.

In 1851, there is a Frederick Lester aged 19 from Glastonbury, in Shepton Mallet Prison.

I cannot find the other Frederick from Glastonbury on the 1851 census.

A death search between 1841 and 1851, doesn't show up for me.

I have Frederick Fry Lester, in 1861 and his marriage and children.

Trying to establish if he's the one in prison, in 1851.

thank you.
