Hi, I am still trying to sort out my 4rd great grandfather's birthplace and year of birth. His name was Boheme or Bohemia Burt. He lived in St. John Horsleydowns in Bermondsey, Surrey where he had his children one of which was John Burt who was my 3rd great grandfather. Okay I have been looking for his birthplace for a long time, about 3 or 4 years. I have now found a Boheme Burt born in Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire in 1776 with parents John and Elizabeth, but I cannot find anything else about them.
The other problem I have now found is that I seem to have found Boheme's death in Long lane Bermondsey in the Non Conformists list and it says he died 13/06/1832 aged 50. which makes his birth date of 1776 wrong. Can anybody please help with this Birth it is driving me mad now! As he lived his married life and had his family in Bermondsey, first as a Baker and then as a Mariner I naturally though he might have been born in that area. I have found his two marriages, one in 1801 to Ann Jackson and the 2nd one to Jane Wilson in 1823. I just need to confirm his birth please. Can anyone help with this for me please?    Cockneygirl

I wonder if anyone can please help me with William Clowes. I think he married Hannah Rogers, but I cant seem to find out if they had any children and when or where they would have been born. I also think his father was Samuel Clowes and mother Ann Wedgwood, but I cant find out if he had any siblings or what their names were or when they would have been born.  I need to tie him into a family tree somehow but am stuck.    Any help with this would be most appreciated. I wonder if anyone can please help me find my great grandmother Matilda Cooke, who was born in Spilsby Lincs c 1822. and her father James Cooke, also from Spilsby I think.    I know Matilda married my great grandfather William Lacey on 26th Feb 1850 at Saint John the Baptist ,Shoreditch, London. They had four children, Annie Jane my grandmother 05/11/1861, Walter c1858 William c1861 and Damaris c1865.  I have spent a long time looking for Matilda and her parents, I do not know her mother's name. I am trying to find out if my mother had any siblings in her family. She never talked to me about her family, apart from the fact that she mentioned something once when I was young about a brother that went to Canada to open a Margerine factory. Never giving a name or anything else about him.
I have done as much research as I can and found out that her parents were Frederick George Haines b.27/11/1881 in Southwark and Annie Maddock born 03/02/1881 in Bermondsey. I have also found that she had a sibling called Beatrice who was born in 1906 and died in 1907. My mother's mother Annie Maddock died in 1918 apparently with child or in childbirth. My mother's name was Violet May Haines was born on 09/11/1908 in Bermondsey, so she was the second child. I have checked the 1911 census and it only lists these two children. I would like to know if there is anyway I can find out if there were more children to the marriage between 1908 and 1918, because it seems to me that if Annie was with child when she died that she would possibly have had more children in the ten years in between.  I cannot get to the records offiice at Kew because I live on the East Coast in Suffolk.

Can anyone please help me find details of George Burt born around 1804 (Sept.possibly) St.Marys Newington and death about March 1847.
Then I would please like his marriage details to Elizabeth Peacock about 1837 if at all possible. I am trying to find out who his father was so either his birth or marriage details would probably give me this I think. Many thanks.
