Westmorland Lookup Requests / Orton Parish records Look Up Please

I have a Robert Bowness married to Eleanor Unthank in 1749 at Orton. I am confused to which Robert Bowness this was I have two one born 1726 and one born 1721. I would like to know from the records who Roberts parents were then that will clear this up thank you

Cumberland / Ferguson Family History Aikton/Thursby/Wigton

I am researching the family of my great grandfather. He was Robert Ferguson born Thursby. He was killed in WW1. He married Francis Hutchinson and had 3 daughters. Several of his siblings emigrated to Ontario, Canada. Does anyone know anything about them. Jerry Tiffin Ferguson, Joseph Ferguson and Mary Ferguson.
