Michael Smyth married Bridget Farrell 23 April 1858 in Lea parish.

The family lived in Ballybrittus until 1900, any information on either person would be appreciated.

Can anyone tell me what Ivanhoe House, Station Road, Rotherham, South Yorkshire is.   Is it an Hotel.   On a death certificate  dated 1980 this is given as the persons usual address although this person died in Birmingham, England.

John Bratt, a boilermaker born 1821.
In the 1841 census he is living in Oldham with the family of Joseph Bratt aged 30 a Boilermaker born Lancs. John Bratt aged 20 a Boilermaker born Lancs.

1851 census he is living with his wifes stepfather Thomas walton in Oldham he is aged 30 a Boilermaker born Bury Lancs

1861 and 1871 census of Dewsbury Yorkshire, he is head of household aged 40 and 50 respectively a Boilermaker and states that he was born in Cheshire, New Church    .

His marriage certificate to Ellen Mills dated 1842 in Hull, states that his father is John Bratt a Boilermaker                                                                                         

Seek any info on the parents of John Bratt born 1821.

Seeking information on the parents of James Cope born circa 1786 in Colwich and his wife Ann Waltham born circa 1786 (not Staffordshire).They both appear in the 1841 census of Colwich Staffordshire, which states that she was not born in the County, by 1851 she has died and James has remarried. I would like to find their parents.

Wigtownshire / David McGowan/Agnes Stewart in Leswalt

Seeking any information on David McGowan, born circa 1771 in Wigtownshire
He appears in the 1841 & 1851 Census of Leswalt, occupation tailor.   His wife Agnes Stewart, born circa 1778 in Wigtownshire appears also in the 1861 census of Leswalt, head of house, a tailors wife.    Her death certificate in 1861 shows her parents to be John Stewart, a shoemaker and Sarah McGaa.   David McGowan died before 1855 presumeably in Leswalt.   Their daughter Sarah born circa 1799 in Leswalt married John Hood.      Any info on the parents of David McGowan would be greatly appreciated.
