Could anyone please do a lookup for an Inquest on the death of my mother's sister - Mary Teresa Ross who died 29th December 1929 at 135 Carville Road, Byker aged 7 years.  The story in the family was that she died of "sleepy sickness", but on the death cert., which I have just received, the cause of death is given as "Heart Failure and Acute Gastro Enteritis". The cert was received from the Coroner with a note that an Inquest was held 30th December 1929.
Many thanks

Northumberland / Renwick/Craig families Newcastle and Cumberland
« on: Friday 26 April 13 09:41 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
Hoping someone can help me.
In my tree I have my gt.gt. grandfather Robert Renwick born Myre, Bewcastle, Cumberland 1816 and my gt.gt. grandmother Elizabeth Byer(s) b.Cockermout abt.1819. The surname Byer(s) I got from a copy of my. gt.grandfather's birth cert.  I can find no marriage for them.
I have them in census 1851 - H0107/2406: census 1861 - RG9/3815 with probable death for Robert abt.1866.  1871 - H0107/824 with Elizabeth widow and children Margaret and William.
Robert and Elizabeth had children George 1843; Margaret 1844;Elizabeth 1845; Robert Craig 1851 and William (my gt.grandfather) 1858.
Margaret, Elizabeth and Robert Craig were all baptised 17th July 1851 St. Mary's Cathedral, but can find no baptism for George and William.Elizabeth died 1860 and Robert Craig 1852 and was buried at St. John's.
I wondered about the middle name of CRAIG for Robert.
Recently I have found a birth and baptism for Mary Renwick in 1840 with  parents Robert Renwick and Elizabeth.  Mary was baptised All Saints 11th October 1840 and in 1841 Census all three are there: H0107/824 Civil Parish St.John, but Robert and Elizabeth are given as born in county.
in 1851 Census H0107/2433 I have Mary living Allonby, West Newton, Cumberland with grandparents John and Elizabeth CRAIG as in 1861 Census RG9/3929.
I was hoping to establish a link between Mary and Robert and Elizabeth, but given the surname Byers I am not sure.
Has anyone any ideas?
Many thanks and hope this is not too confusing.

Roxburghshire / Andrew Davidson b. abt 1802 and Isabella Robertson
« on: Tuesday 24 May 11 11:06 BST (UK)  »
The above are my 3xgt grandparents.  In 1841 they are living in Coldstrem where Andrew is a mason.
On 1851 census Adrew gives b irth place as Roxburgh b. about 1802, and on 1861 birthplace is Kelso.
On all census from 1851 to 1881 Isabella gives her birth place as Kelso abt.1801.
The family continued to live in Coldstream where all of their children were born.
Can anyone help me find a birth for Andrew and Isabella and also a marriage, as I have been unable to find anything from IGI.
Many thanks

Inverness / Family of John Ross after 1901
« on: Monday 16 May 11 17:32 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find the family of John Ross and Mary Fraser after 1901.
John Ross was born Kilmuir Easter 1862 son of Hugh Ross and Catherine Campbell.  Mary Fraser was born Kirkhill, Inverness 1861 daughter of Thomas Fraser and Helen Fraser.
John and Mary married 13 June 1884 Englishton Muir,Kirkhill,Inverness and had 5 children - Thomas b.Daviot 1886, William b.Daviot 1888, Alex b.Resolis 1892, Robert b.Daviot 1896, Helen b.Kiltarlity 1898.
John's occupation was Miller and in 1891 the family was at Farr Mills, Daviot and Dunlicity.  In 1901 they were at Belladrum Mills.
I don't seem to be able to locate them in 1911.
Does anyone have them in their trees and can help please?
Many thanks
Patricia
