Hi everybody

Can anyone help me as to which district area this marriage would have been, all I know is it was
Sculcoates, marriage 10 February 1822 James Featherstone Barker n Maria Tyson.

I know parts of Sculcoates were split between Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire 1937
so the register could be in either archive of Hull History Centre and The Treasure House,
Beverley or still in church vaults or destroyed during the Blitz.

Next, if anyone has this James Featherstone Barker in their research and has managed
to match him with his parent/s I would be pleased if you would contact me.

Please note, I don't require information for census's etc., or links to the Featherstone Society,
as I am part of this

Thanks

Surrey / MORTLAKE PETTY SESSIONS COURT - Adoption Records
« on: Friday 25 September 20 13:07 BST (UK)  »
Hi everyone
I need help with Mortlake Petty Sessions Court, I know records upto 1945 are held at Surrey History Centre,
would these include Adoption Records that were done through Mortlake Petty Sessions Court ??

An email has been sent to Surrey History Centre, but places are still not fully staffed, so could be a delay in response.

If Adoption Records were not sent to Surrey History Centre, where would they have been sent too ??

Where are cases for Mortlake now heard, as the Adoption Records could have been transferred to that court ??

Kind regards

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have access to a Memorial Inscription book for North Cave please for surnames WOOD - STATHER - STAMP

Also can anyone help with Births, Marriages, Deaths for North Cave, searching pre 1900's as early as 1700's. I believe the very early registers will be at Treasure House, Beverley.

The families were Methodists, but no clue as to which Methodist Chapel they attended and I know these Methodists records are held at Treasure House, Beverley, I think, if I recall, they come under the Hull / Goole Methodist Circuit.

I am trying to help  StompieSinger who lives in Australia. I don't have transport to Beverley, so if anyone can assist us, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Antrim / Milltown Cemetery, Belfast- L/SGT John FITZPATRICK
« on: Monday 01 July 19 13:13 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I am searching for the burial plot for L/Sgt JOHN FITZPATRICK, aged 30 yrs, buried 23 October 1909 in MILLTOWN Cemetery, Roman Catholic.
He may be laid side by side a Private WILLIAM WHELAN.
They both lost their lives to drowning in a military exercise accident in First Lock, River Lagan, Belfast, 1909.
There is much written about these men losing their lives and in Belfast on the day of their funeral there were masses of locals who turned out to "salute" them and watch the parade with full military honours.
I have no idea if they have headstones.
Thank you to anyone who can assist me.

Kind regards

Lancashire / PHILIPS PARK CEMETERY - JOHN FITZPATRICK
« on: Monday 01 July 19 00:34 BST (UK)  »
Evening everyone
I need assistance to find out if this man L/Sgt John Fitzpatrick 23 October 1909 buried in Milltown Cemetery, Belfast 1909 Cheshire Regiment, is the same person as this man;

Find A Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/142920649/john-fitzpatrick
Name: John Fitzpatrick - Death Date: 23 Oct 1909 - Cemetery: Philips Park Cemetery - Burial or Cremation Place: Miles Platting, Metropolitan Borough of Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Has Bio?: N - PLOT CRoman Catholic 134 - MEMORIAL ID - 1429206

The date of death is identical, and L/Sgt John Fitzpatrick's family lived in Warrington and some of his siblings are buried in Ford cemetery ?
Is the 2nd John F a completely different person ?

Does anyone have access or can access the Burial Register or Memorial Register please or MI please ?

I live in East Yorkshire and not possible for me to travel to Manchester.

Ayrshire / WILLIAM TAYLOR & BARBARA HUTCHINSON
« on: Wednesday 13 December 17 15:17 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone
I am searching for the marriage between WILLIAM TAYLOR  &  BARBARA HUTCHINSON
They had the following children all Baptised Church of Scotland, Galston.

Agnes 1794 - Ross 1796 - William & John 1798 - William 1800 - Robert 1802 - Hugh 1804 - Robert 1806 - Gibson 1808 - Thomas 1810 - Elizabeth Seymour 1812 - Andrew 1814

I would have thought the marriage would have been somewhere in Ayrshire, given that the were all baptised at Galston, many of their descendants continued to live in Galston and surrounding areas.

I have checked Scotland's People and cannot find anything, other than what I thought was possibly earlier marriage for Barbara Hutchinson to a John Lawson but these had children overlapping those above, the other a Barbara McFarlane to William Taylor, Dundee but again they had children overlapping too.

I have searched on Ancestry and Familysearch and I have also searched Scotland as a whole and United Kingdom.

Can anyone help or assist or explain why I cannot locate this marriage please.

Kind regards
