I am  looking  for  information  about  the  early  life  in  Ballaghadereen of  the  poet /short story  writer P.J. COLEMAN born approx. 1860 emigrated  to  the  U.S.A. Also  Bishop Mc Cormack  of  Achonry .

I am  researching  the  history  of St. Nathy's College Ballaghadereen  Co . Roscommon Ireland  for  the  Bicentenary  in  2010
. One  of  our  greatest  benefactors  was  a  gentleman  called  DENIS BRODERICK . he  was  originally  from  Ireland  and  made  his fortune in clothes/drapery/fashion /clothing  manufacture , we  are  not  sure.
He left part  of  his  fortune  to  the  Bishop of Southwark , and  part  to  the  Bishop of Achonry for  the  new section  College  which  was  opened  in  1916 .
I  would  like  to  know  what  trade  he  was  in , and  any  details  about  this man  who  made  it  possible  for  so  many deserving  students  to  gain  an  education .He  lived  in  Brighton  and  was  married .Died around 1912/ 1914 .his  wife  died later .

I am Researching  the  history  of  St. Nathy's  College Ballaghadereen  Co Roscommon Ireland. The  college  has a rich history  of  2oo  years of  providing  excellent  students for  the  professons world  wide. I  am  searching  for  past  students  who  may like  to  contribute  old  photographs, or  memoirs , for  the  publication. 
2010  is  our  bicentenary and  we  are  Planning  a  year  of  celebration and  the  history  book  will provide a trip  down  memory  lane  for many  thousands of students .
All  items  will  be  returned ,  with  grateful  thanks.

I am  researching  the  history  of St. Nathy's  college  Ballaghadereen . co Roscommon  The  college will  celebrate  its  200th  birthday in  2010  and  we  are  searching  for  students  who attended  in  years  gone  by  who  would allow  us  to  borrow  photographs , newspaper  cuttings , and  perhaps  share  their   memories for the  publication .

The  college  which w as  once a  boarding  school  with  many  students  from  all  over  the  country will  celebrate  its  200th birthday  in  2010 .We  hope  that  Students  who  attended  would  be  willing  to  share  their  photographs , newspaper  cuttings  or  memoirs  with  us  . World War One / Irish Catholic Chaplains in W.W.I.

I  am researching a  History of  St. Nathy's College  in  Ballaghadereen co Roscommon Ireland for  the  bicentenary in 2010 . We had  two young  teacher  priests  who volunteered  to  become  Chaplains , in  the  first  world  war , Fr . Felix Burke and Fr. Michaels Louis Henry . Both  returned  and we have  found  our  that  Father Burke  was with  the  16th Division and  was  cited  in  reports  for  bravery . Any  information  about either  but  especially  Father  Henry  would  be wonderful .

 i  am  researching  a  book  and  need  to  find  out  the  name  of  the  militia quartered  in Ballaghadereen Barracks  Co  Mayo  approx 1800 . There  were  approx 92  soldiers  and  4  officers,
