Wales / Missing Reardon Birth record Oct 1904 in Wales

Hi,

I am struggling to locate a birth record for a Benjamin Reardon born 7th October 1904 in Wales.
These birth date & place details are submitted on his death certificate - unfortunately, all it states is Wales, no area or Town!
He died in Sussex in Jan 1973.

I have been trying alternative spellings etc and searched the birth indexes but have still not located anything other than a birth of a Benjamin Reardon Sept in 1909 - some five years difference in birth's!

I have no further details such as parents name etc to go on.

Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Warwickshire Lookup Requests / Bull Marriage & Census help needed!

I have been trying to trace my g.g. grandmother through census & marriages and I am still struggling. Can anyone help please!

Looking for 1891 & 1901 census records for Gertrude Lydia Bull born Feb 1883 to William James Bull & Lydia Bull formerly Davis. Have birth cert which confirms details.

Gertrude married a John William Brannan and her father is detailed on their marriage cert as just James Bull, could not find census records still so sent off for her birth cert to confirm mother's name. That's not helped either.

Cannot find marriage either for William James Bull & Lydia Davis.

Address at time of birth was 34 Court, 5 Bromsgrove Street, St Martins, Birmingham.

Yorkshire (West Riding) Completed Requests / Jeremiah Jagger - Soyland look ups Please!

Hello,

I have traced the male line of my Family back to 1811, but need help with parish look ups to help me further.

My g.g.g.g grandfather is called Jeremiah Jagger born 1811 in Soyland. Jeremiah married a lady called Hannah who's maiden name is not known as they married before 1837.

I have copies of the 1841, 1851, 1861 & 1871 census records and known that they lived in:
1841 - Bank Bottom, Elland
1851 - Bottom of Elland Edge
1855 - Hannah Jagger dies in Dec 1855, registered in Rochdale, Lancs
1856 - Marriage to second wife in Rochdale (Mary Ann Shepherd)
1861 - Moved to Rochdale, living in Castleton, Lancashire
1871 - Still in Castleton, Rochdale, Lancashire
1876 - Jeremiah Dies in Rochdale, Lancashire

I also know that they had 5 known children - Thomas born: 1837 - 1908, Elizabeth born:1838, John born: 1840, James born:1845-1891 & Sarah Ann born:1849.

Please can anyone be kind enough to help with date of Marriage to Hannah, and her maiden name please as well as Jeremiah's Parents, siblings, Grandparents etc names if possible.

Warwickshire / Missing Census Records - Help needed

Hi,

I am trying to trace my g.g. grandparents' census records and I am in need of expert help.

I want to find the 1891 & 1901 census records for Gertrude Lydia Bull, Born in Birmingham (Warwickshire) in March 1883. I have found birth record already, so know place of birth is correct.

Father's name is James Bull, mother's name is unknown. Siblings also unknown.

I have my g.g.grandparents marriage cert. They married in July 1901, address given on cert at time of marriage is 6/4 Gt Colmore Street, St Thomas, Birmingham (also known as St Martins district). I have searched the census records for the streets in this area and there is a Chas Bull living at this address, but no Gertrude Bull on 1/4/1901 census night. Possible Uncle? Where is she? Where is James?

If anyone can look up birth registers for mother's name, that would be a great help too.

Warwickshire / Help with Birmingham Marriage Please!

Hi,

I am trying to find a marriage, and have had no luck! Any help gratefully received.

Marriage is for Silvester Brannan born March 1859 in Birmingham (have found record of this) to a Kate ? born 1859 too.

I have also got the census records for 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 & 1901 for Silvester.

Their first child John William was born 1880 in Birmingham, followed by Mary, Silvester, Rose, Ellen & Arthur.

I have found them difficult to trace as they have been named as Braemar, Branam, Brannon, Braylem etc

Galway / Watkins family Galway 1870's

Hi,

I am looking for any information relating to Joseph & Ruth Watkins ( nee Moore) both born Huddersfield Yorks abt 1847.

They marry in Huddersfield in 1865 and had two children - William Watkins (1866) & Mary Watkins (1868) - both children are born in Rochdale, Lancashire.

I cannot find an 1871 England census record.

Another daughter is born - Sarah Ellen Watkins (1870) and on the 1881 census her place of birth is Galway, Ireland.

In 1876 Agnes Watkins is born but back in Rochdale not Ireland.

On 1881 census Ruth has remarried and is a now a stansfield living in Rochdale with her children from Joseph & new children from James Stanfield.

Please can anyone help me find out why they moved to Ireland and back again within a six year period, Also did Joseph die in Ireland - I cannot find a death record? Meaning Ruth can back to England to have Agnes?

Lancashire / Thomas Jagger & Jessie Caroline Grimes (Rochdale)

Hi, I am trying to piece together the last and most up to date information I have on my great aunts & uncles.

Can anyone please help with information on Thomas Jagger born 1908 & Jessie Caroline Grimes born 1915 both in Rochdale.

They married at Lower Place Methodist Church Rochdale in Feb 1938. Father are Thomas Jagger of Channing Street, Rochdale & Arthur Grimes of Stiups Lane, Rochdale.

I need to find out if they had children and if anyone can pass on details of any living relatives of these two people.

Lancashire / Jesse & Mary Alice Sutcliffe & Ronald & John R Sutcliffe

Hi, I am hoping to trace relatives of Jesse & Mary Alice Sutcliffe (nee Jagger). They were married in Aug 1926 in Rochdale. Jesse's father is John Rhodes Sutcliffe who died of wounds in 1918 (WW1).

Mary Alice died in 1985 in Rochdale. Do not know about Jesse Sutcliffe's death.

They had three children:

Ronald Sutcliffe - 4/Feb/1927 and died in Rochdale March 1990. Did he marry and have children?

John R Sutcliffe - Jan 1934 - died aged 0 Jan 1934

^(*) Sutcliffe - July, Aug, Sept 1935.... R is possibly Rhodes after his grandfather.

Did ^(*) Sutcliffe marry and have children?
Last known address is 136 Bury Road , Rochdale or Channing Street, Rochdale

Can Anyone fill in the last few missing parts of my current family tree?

Lancashire / Rochdale Marriage Look Up Please

Hi,
I wonder if anyone may be able to help with some marriage info please?

I want to find the father's name on a marriage certificate of the groom.

Marriage was in St Peter's Newbold Church, Rochdale on 10th July 1915 between Benjamin Howarth b 1892 and Margaret Ann Clegg b 1893 both of Rochdale. Ref 8e 36

Address at time of marriage is 32 Stamford Street, Rochdale.

I am hoping the father of Benjamin on the certificate is listed as Robert A Howarth born 1861.

It will be much appreciated if someone may be kind enough to help,
