Lancashire / Looking for 1 Mount Street Ancoats Manchester in the 1841 census
« on: Monday 26 May 14 12:08 BST (UK)  »
Would sks be able to help me?  I have found an 1838 marriage record for Catherine Trainor and Townley Rigby where Catherine's address is recorded as 1 Mount Street Ancoats Manchester.  I would like to find the 1841 census record for this address to see if Catherine's father, Edward Trainor, might be living there.  I have a subscription to ancestry.com but cannot search based on the address and have had no luck searching using the surname "Trainor" or variants.  Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Karen

Australia / SA Death Lookup - Cyril WOOD
« on: Tuesday 17 May 11 04:48 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for the South Australian death registration for Cyril Wood.  The death would have occurred sometime between 1939-1971.  Cyril's wife was Hilda and I believe his father's name was James Wood.

Thanks

Would sks who has access to the Waverley cemetery cd check for any information on Catherine Cain (Cane).  According to a funeral notice published in the SMH 11.08.1913, Catherine was buried at Waverley Cemetery that same day. Any nearby graves with surnames Murray or Joyce might also be related to my Catherine.

Thanks in advance.

I think I have just found a reference to my great, great grandmother in the online index of the SA Police Gazette 1910.  If anyone has access to the gazette and could provide me with the entry details it would be much appreciated.  I’m interested in the entry appearing on page  159 relating to Maria Acraman.

Thanks
